Dr. Nabilaa Mohamed is an academic, researcher, author and Thesis Transformation Specialist whose work focuses on helping postgraduate researchers and academics extend the life of their research beyond the thesis.
Her work brings together academic research, research writing, editorial strategy, knowledge transformation and scholarly publishing.
The idea behind Thesis Transformation by Dr. Nabilaa grew from a simple concern: valuable postgraduate research is often completed, examined and deposited in libraries or institutional repositories, yet much of its knowledge reaches only a limited readership.
She believes that completing a thesis does not necessarily have to mark the end of the research journey. Through purposeful transformation, research can be repositioned, restructured and communicated in forms that allow knowledge to travel further.
This philosophy also underpins Tesis Jadi Buku.TJB, her signature thesis-to-book initiative.

My Journey
My work in Thesis Transformation began with a simple observation: valuable postgraduate research is often completed, examined and deposited in libraries or institutional repositories, yet much of its knowledge reaches only a limited readership.
That observation led to a question that continues to shape my work:
What happens to research after the thesis is completed?
I believe a thesis can have a life beyond examination. Its knowledge can be repositioned, restructured and communicated for new readers, purposes and forms.
Today, my work brings together my experience as an academic, researcher, author and Thesis Transformation Specialist. I work across thesis transformation, research writing, editorial strategy, scholarly publishing and academic development.
I am also the Creator of Tesis Jadi Buku.TJB, my signature thesis-to-book initiative, and the author of Step-by-Step Menukarkan Tesis Kepada Buku, developed from my practical experience in guiding researchers through the transition from thesis writing to book writing.
Alongside Thesis Transformation, I support postgraduate learning through research writing programmes, workshops and Learn with Dr. Nabilaa, a learning community that provides opportunities to learn, write, research and publish.
